Dear fans of crazy special effects, it’s time to slaver. 50 mind-blowing sequels are waiting for you. And although the plot of most these films looks the same (a hero conquers a villain and rescues a cheesecake from the trouble), everybody will find what to anticipate in this list. Don’t take the rating of these movies too seriously. Everybody wants to see his favorite movies in top positions, but it’s just a list.
1Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
At the mere thought of this American superhero film of Zack Snyder based on the comics about Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, I have the screaming habdabs. The movie is designed as the sequel of Man of Steel. The original name of this film starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Amy Adams was “The Untitled Zack Snyder Super Hero Film.”
2Star Wars. Episode VII (2015)
The sequel of the iconic cosmic opera will chronologically continue the famous story, though the plot of future film is being kept in strict confidence. I even don’t know what to expect after the Walt Disney Company bought the brand Star Wars in 2012. Will they make the film according to George Lucas scenario or dictate their own ideas?
3The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
The new comics-based superhero film by Joss Whedon is the sequel to famous movies like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and others (11 in total). So I guess Whendon has a lot of job to make this upcoming movie starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson understandable for those who didn’t see previous films.
4Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2016)
The shooting of the sequel of pirate opera will be started in the end of this year, according to the movie’s directors from Norway Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg. Johnny Depp stays faithful to the film, but we won’t see Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom starring in it because their stories ended back in the third film.
